Awesome lines, and sexy looks. I was going to keep my Procharged 96 Mustang GT, but upon getting my divorce while I was still deployed, I decided to sell it and get something I wanted. So I purchased a 2002 Zinc Yellow Saleen build number 02-245, from Blacks Automotive in FL. Upon day one I started modding it, and have never stopped. I have gone
through two different supercharger setups, and three engines. My current setup, I hope to have for a long time...due to the expences lol. When I went to Iraq for the second time in 2005, I decided to put some big money into her and make it a truely one of a kind Saleen. I wanted something that you dont see everyday...something different. So I sent the Saleen to Modular Powerhous in Maretta, Ga. There Tim, Any, and Rhonda Barth, plus Brandon, Bobby, and Peter installed a VT Shortblock, HP Twin 57 Turbo Kit, and alot of other supporting mods. Ended up with 505rwhp, and 591tq on 20lbs of boost. After a couple months of that, decided I wanted more horsepower. So back out to MPH the car went for Turbo Cams, Springs, Retainers, Injectors and Retune. It netted 606rwhp, and 618tq on 20lbs of boost, on a 11.2 A/F and 14 degrees of timing. It was my goal to make 600rwhp...I made it, so I am done with heavy modding for a looonng time lol!! No track times as of yet...in the process of doing some minor modifications to get it ready for the track.
